We teach them how to integrate back in "normal" living. This includes showing them how to cook and budget, as most of them have never had to do either. It is remarkable to meet someone who at 45 has never cooked a meal or kept money for tomorrow.<BR/>I think your idea of teaching kids how to live poor is great.
