And I know how you feel about the pack rat thing too. It's definitely genetic. My Grandfather keeps everything but in his defence still uses a lot of it. My father, well let's just say that one time we found a box in the garage labeled "Broken Wires" (that is the honest truth). And me? I have trouble throwing away things, but I'm moving soon (for the first time) and plan on doing a bit of a purge. I have tried a black bean ...Oooo, these look good. I have tried a black bean chocolate cake and been very pleased - no bean flavor, great texture. I'll bet the dates add some nice chewiness. I've actually had better luck with gluten free recipes for brownies that I really like so I will have to try this one out.
